Description

Qblock PLUS is a powerful plasticiser which improves workability, increases cohesive properties of the concrete, extends workability, reduces water content and increases durability, hardiness and waterproof qualities of concrete, while saving cement. Qblock PLUS is a sodium gluconate based liquid with no chloride and nitrate content and specific gravity of ~1,03 g/cm3.

Applications

Qblock PLUS is an excellent product for concrete screed, particularly when installing floor heating, for manufacturing pre-cast concrete and concrete bricks and blocks, as well as for pre-stressed concrete in areas of congested reinforcement where high workability is of particular benefit.

Dosage

Qblock PLUS should be dosed proportionally, as 0,29% to 0,57 % of the cement content in the mix (typically at a rate of 200 ml per 50 kg of cement) and added to the mixture together with the water and the aggregates. Never add Qblock Plus to dry cement! Increasing the dosage of Qblock (0,41% to 0,82% of cement content) is recommended for hot weather concreting to extend workability of the mix.

Storage

Qblock PLUS should be stored in clean and tightly closed containers away from direct sunshine. If frozen, thaw , shake and stir well until homogeneous. Its shelf life in closed containers is 24 months from the manufacturing date specified on the packaging.
