Description

Qmix Plus is a plasticiser improving workability of cement based brick and block laying mortars made with Portland cement. It replaces lime in brick laying and rendering mixes. This air entraining product improves workability of wet mortar and increases water and frost resistance of hardened mortar. Qmix Plus can be used in temperatures down to -2°C. The product reduces the incidence of cracking and crazing. Mortars made with Qmix Plus have extended workability, do not bleed, have improved penetration qualities and reduced efflorescence on the surface. It is a red liquid with Ph 9-11 acidity and specific gravity of 1,01 g/cm3.

Dosage

Qmix Plus is dosed proportionally, as 0,28% to 0,56% of the cement content in the mix (typically at a rate of 200 ml per 50 kg of cement). Qmix Plus may be either pre-mixed with the water or added directly into the mixer. Efficient mixing action should be used for best results. Shake before use.

Storage

Qmix Plus should be stored in clean and tightly closed containers. If frozen, thaw and stir well until homogeneous. Its shelf life in closed containers is 24 months from the manufacturing date specified on the packaging.
