Description

Qpolar C is a chloride free, complex admixture for concrete based on modified polynaphtalene resins, with a double action: liquidizes and accelerates concrete hardening. It is a brown liquid with -10°C freezing point and specific gravity of ~1,29kg/dm3. Qpolar can be used at temperatures down to -10°C and down to -15°C when manufacturing large concrete elements covered after concreting when wet concrete is duly cured.

Application

- all types of cement excluding white
- concrete which requires high initial and final resistance
- for pre-casting and for pre-stressed concrete
- for reinforced concrete whenever faster spreading of concrete is required

Dosage

Dosage ranges from 0,8% to 1,5% of the cement mass. Typical dosage is 1% (0,5 kg per 50 kg of cement). Qpolar is added directly to mixing water in the mixer. Do not combine with other acid agents. Qpolar is effective only when the amount of mixing water is noticeably reduced. Minimum mixing time before concreting is 2 mins.

Storage 

Qpolar C should be stored in clean and tightly closed containers away from direct sunshine. If frozen, thaw and stir well until homogeneous. Its shelf life in closed containers is 18 months from the manufacturing date specified on the packaging.
