Description
|
Qmix DH Winter is a complex blend
of Air Entraining Plasticisers and Accelerating additives designed to
provide protection to freshly placed mortars down to temperatures of
-8°C. Qmix DH Winter replaces lime in mortar, increases
workability in low temperatures, increases frost resistance during
setting, promotes higher strengths at an early stage, reduces bleeding
and segregation, reduces shrinkage. Is Chloride free and non-corrosive
to embedded metals.
|
Application
|
Qmix DH Winter is suitable for all
brick and block laying applications as well as pointing or floor
screeds (especially conducted in low temperatures, down to -8°C).
|
Dozowanie
|
Qmix DH Winter should
be added to a small quantity of the mixing water and allowed to
dissolve
before adding directly into the mixing drum in proportions between 0,3%
(down to -4°C) and 0,6% (down to -8°C) per cement used, (typically
1 sachet 75g per 25 kg of cement).
Further mixing water should then be slowly added to the mix
ensuring that the water addition is kept to a minimum for any given
application.
All materials used in the mix must be free from ice and the temperature
of the mix prior to placing not be less than 4°C.
Work should be covered after placing until the minimum strength is
obtained or until the temperature rises above freezing.
|
Storage
